Nora Mello is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Piano Performance at the DePaul University School of Music. Nora is a recent graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing.
In the summers she has attended Encore Chamber Music (2016), MSU Masterclasses in Todi, Italy (2014), Brevard Music Festival (2013), and New England Music Camp (2010-2012). Nora has won first prize at various competitions, including New England Music Camp’s Concerto Competition where she performed the first movement of Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 with orchestra and the American Fine Art’s Festival where she performed at Weill Hall (Carnegie Hall) in New York City.
Principle teachers include George Vatchnadze, Deborah Moriarty, and Dr. Tish Anne Kilgore.
