Voice Instructor

Known to some  as “pop star” thanks to a warm Chicago Tribune article, Thair brings soaring lyricism and colorful collage of pop to the Chicago music scene. Thair uses thorough vocal technique to spin sorrow into high-energy dance music that unites the dance-floor. He is a teaching artist with Ravinia Festival with a focus in music and literature. Additionally, Thair has taught private voice lessons for five years yielding pupils who study the art into their college careers as well as on international tours. Using the foundations of theory and understanding the function of the muscles used to sing, Thair works to unlock the potential of each student in a highly tailored way.

Thair has performed at Lollapalooza, Chicago Pridefest, Thalia Hall and on WGN and FOX news. Their self-produced EPs had them nominated for best pop artist in 2020 by the Chicago Reader. He firmly believes that everybody should feel confident in using their first instrument, the voice. This will help them to believe in their art no matter the stage.
