Piano and Voice Instructor

Rachel has been a musician for most of her life. She began piano lessons at the age of eight, and continued all the way through college. She has many years of experience accompanying soloists, choirs, and musicals, and has also performed with the winners of the Cleveland International Piano competition. In 2017, she graduated with a B.A. in Music Composition from Columbia College Chicago, under the instruction of many reputable musicians such as Kenn Kumpf, Phillip Seward, Lon Ellenberger, and Jeff Morrow. She has experience composing for most instruments and has written music for short films, solo piano, orchestras, and her favorite- choir. Rachel is a vocalist as well and loves choral singing. She has composed many choral pieces, and has written a full-length opera that premiered in 2016. 

Rachel is very passionate about bringing appreciation and love for music to the next generation. She feels she can easily connect with her students and loves seeing them grow and succeed.
